News: Auto Salon Perth Fires Up
- Friday 23rd July, 2010
Where do you go to see the loudest, shiniest, and some of the most powerful cars in Australia, Autosalon of course. After a brief absence Autosalon has returned in 2010 and July 24-25th sees the crowds gather in Perth for the first show.

What can you expect to see?
The insane Tomei Cusco time attack WRX will be making its first and only appearance in Western Australia at Auto Salon Perth. Fresh from smashing the long-standing Eastern Creek lap record with Tarzan Yamada behind the wheel, the WRX will be heading over to Perth so that WA fans have the opportunity to see it in the flesh. The Tomei Cusco WRX is one of Japan’s fastest and most famous time attack weapons, so make sure you see it before it returns to Japan!

Does Vibe’s Dredd car look familiar? That’s because it was originally a prop car in the Hollywood smash Judge Dredd film featuring Sylvester Stallone. Only three of these were ever created – the other two are owned by Stallone – and Vibe Audio have transformed it into one of the world’s most famous audio demo cars.
This is the first time the Dredd will be seen in Australia, having just arrived from the UK where it was built. The entire vehicle has been transformed into a massive subwoofer speaker port, and it even has 12-inch subs fitted into the wheels! With 20 amplifiers powering the vehicle, it is heralded as the loudest truck in the UK and some 32 times louder than a shotgun!

And let's not forget the unveiling of Orion Car Audio's brand new dead set cool demo car. Another creation of the master craftsmen from Phatt Audio Concepts and Sew Fine Trimming in Melbourne, the Orion demo car is sure to impress. Look out for a feature of the Orion demo car on MEA shortly after its debut at Perth Autosalon.

And if you head over to the Orion stand, you'll be able to have your photo taken with the Face of Orion 2010, Hayley.

There is simply not enough space on these pages to talk about all the exciting features of this years Autosalon events, so if you're in Western Australia make sure you don't miss this show.
