There's never been a better time to be into car audio and specifically competitions. Whether you are into sound quality or SPL, MEASQ and dB Drag Racing events are regularly happening around the country. MEASQ is Australia's very own sound quality competition format and currently operates a series in QLD, ACT/NSW, VIC and WA. dB Drag Racing is an internationally recognised competition format for SPL enthusiasts with events in every state of Australia.
Both competition formats cater for and welcome first time competitors and have appropriate classes to 'give you a go' and see if its something you would be interested in taking up as a hobby and sport. There are literally hundreds of competitors around Australia and all are always willing to give you advice, help you tune and welcome you to the world of car audio competition. Give it a go, you have nothing to lose!
