News: VE Commodore Integration Solution from Alpine

Don't you love it when things just work? If you're the owner of a series one VE Commodore you will know too well it's been virtually impossible to upgrade your factory head unit .... until now! Thanks to Quasi Technologies and Alpine there is now a solution and they're running out the door around the country.
Quasi Technologies, a Melbourne based company, has developed the fascia soutions that allows VE Commodore owners to replace their factory head unit with an Alpine Mobile Media Station with Navigation, and still retain all the factory heater, airconditioning and vent controls, and of course steering wheel controls.
The VE fascia solution provides quick and easy adjustment of climate controls. Each time a HVAC button is pressed the HVAC information is displayed on the Alpine screen and after a few seconds the screen automatically returns to the original source. Furthermore, the VE fascia solution enables full steering wheel control including answer and hang up functions of the Alpine Bluetooth phone feature.
Everything you’ll need for the installation is included. The kit is supplied with a wiring harness, antenna adapter, mounting hardware and even a metallic silver overlay for a customised look. Easy to follow instructions are also provided, and if you do require any tech support, Quasi technologies offer a technical assistance hotline.
