The only reason I bought my Accord was I wanted a Honda for windscreen depth , smooth dash , reasonable soundproofing (they are quiet) and low seating position - I bought an accord because it has four doors . Didn't actually care about the car itself...the caddillac idea is interesting though .....

Jambo - I judged a mid 90's MR2 about a year ago in a comp - it had alpine gear in it (with time alignment) considering I am 6ft2 and didn't have the most comfortable seating position , it still sounded very impressive (wide, reasonably deep stage and imaged quite well) I was pleasantly surprised .

I think my old 7 series was perfect SQ rattle free from the factory and double glazed windows roll the windows up and boot down couldnt hear the 18W6 only the roof flexing but I think the ultimate for me would be my dads Merc S600 his factory 12 speaker Bose with 4 subs is rock solid and every time I jump in it I can't believe it came standard its supposedly one of the most expensive stereos from factory RRP $22,000 back when it was new.

So yeah big sedans/limos.

I'd LOVE to see a nice setup in a 63 chevy belair or hardtop impala... sure ther are a lot of rattles, but if you have t money to go all out on SQ then you can afford 20 litres of g spot and 10 sq. metres of dynamat!

but they are good and wide, very solid, HUGE boot, large enough cabin to have some decent subtle ambience, and dammit they are really sweet looking cars... and if SQ fails you coudl always fit hydraulics and have some REAL fun...
