are the nrs650 splits any good.

interesting question! now that you mention it, i don't know a single person that uses nakamichi speakers (though lots of people use their excellent headunits).

experiences anyone?

A customer of mine has got a set of their 6.5" splits....the model number i think is spc 60?.....they work very well.... nice and smooth, with a very mellow tweeter....they are really nice to listen to for long periods as they don't fatigue your ears even at a reasonably loud level.....the model number you mentioned above i don't have any experience with though.....
