SQ sub

i'm limited to ~70L max enclosure volume, and a budget of $200.
i have never seen a sub that goes that low in a sealed box, so i'm assuming i need something with relatively low QTS, under 0.45 (so it will suit porting), and low Fs.
anyone got any ideas?
i'll also consider 2nd hand, if someone happens to have something of interest, PM me.

for new the best quality would be an Alpine S Type 12"
however you may be able to find a nice focal sub or an xtant sub for maybe around the $350.00 mark??
i dont think they will go that low very comfortably with such little power though.

i want a relatively flat response down to 25Hz. volume isn't terribly important, as this is already overkill for my room.
the type s doens't wanna tune nicely and low enough for me, group delay isn't pretty.

this woofer has a pretty good reputation in home DIY circles, and having used vifa drivers before, i can vouch that you'd be hard-pressed to find better quality and value for your dollar (unless, of course, you find something nice second-hand)
IMO, well worth checking out
Australian Vifa Distributor
i'd also give peerless drivers a try ... i'm not too sure of the aussie distribution/availability for peerless, though ... peerless is owned by the same parent company as vifa, so i'd suspect the quality and value-for-money would be quite similar

pioneer hey shiny? i'll check that out, thanks.
KrasE the venom's a bit boomy for my liking and the hertz didn't wanna tune nicely for the available enclosure space, might have another play with that though.
R2, i'll check out peerless and Vifa. thanks.
