the H230 will make an excellent front stage amp, regardless of what splits. you won't of course utilise all the power on tap (or else greatly risk frying your splits), but its gutsy and clean performance will get the best from the HSK's. hot4s once reviewed the H230 and described its power as very clean and very suitable for splits, so it should be a nice SQ amp.

presuming the class D is at least as powerful, i think a nice monobloc subamp would be a good upgrade from the bridged hertz. however note that you may be running a 4ohm load; most monoblocs produce best power into lower impedences (ie: 2 or 1ohm). so finding a monobloc with high power at 4ohm usually = $$, not to mention not tapping into the amp's full potential.

Im uprgrading to couple of twelve with 4ohm DVCs , or a single beter 12 or 15 with 2ohm DVCs, to get a 1 or 4 ohm load so I can run them off the H230 for the time being.
