update on the pods, i ended up mixing a small amount of resin with a load of catalyst and did a coat over the not so dry fibre glass, next day it was hard as a rock...

i've done 2 coats and am thinking whether i should do my third coat of fibre glass????

one other thing, how wot is the best way of cuttin fibreglass??

it's pretty tough, angle grinder, metal file, possibly a jigsaw.
make sure you wear lots fo protection when cutting 'glass... breathing especially.
the dust goes everywhere and damn it's itchy!

Ill 2nd Mr bob there But warn that fiberglass fumes CAN be casnogenic (SP) they normally contain MEK.

When i fiberglassed the pods i didnt have much overlap on the edges and was able to use a stanley knife

start with a fairly large grit sandpaper to remove large amounts before going to small grit stuff to get rid of minor imperfections

Before you start sanding, cover yourself with talcum powder. The fibre glass won't get into your pours(sp) so you wont get itchy, and the best part is that it all washes off in the shower. Trust me, you will get itchy working with this stuff!
