I've decided to use a 12 inch sub instead of the 2 x 10s. Now how should i position these subs? should i face the sub forward or facing backward. Or maybe facing up (using a false floor kind of install)? Once again, thanks ..

Borrow box from friend(s) for temporary enclosure, place it in the boot , which way you like the sounds (facing backward is more familiar ).
Now, after you find a better place its time to built nice box, fibreglass perhaps?
