there are a lot of users on this forum that have heard/owned both brands, but what would you like to know about them?

I'm not to fond of my local Boston dealer, as more sh1t comes out their mouths than their arses... I'd go into the city if I was to buy Boston. I've never heard anyone say Boston Pros sound similar to the Dynaudio speakers though

The dyns are extremelly detailed, reproducing every nuance of sound that's presented to them.
I believe they are a bit picky on how they're installed though

Sorry to butt in, but is there anything that sounds as good as the Dyn's for $800??? That's my budget and no Dynaudio dealers will go that low

I recently bought a pair of 2nd hand 5.25" diamond hex splits. Nice sounding highs(not tinny or harsh), sligtly bright in the high vocal range (which I like) - had a similar midrange to focal gear (slightly accentuated). The only dyns I heard were with music I hated, and a very dry sounding aperiodic setup - so not to my liking.
Does anyone i canberra running Dyns listen to electronic music? Most dyn lovers tend to listen to rock-type music, which is not for me - i'd love to listen to a proper dyn setup with some of my own music....can anyone give me a demo??

they still sound better than the DDDrives i had in before, but the crossover and lack of proper installation is limiting them somewhat no matter what music you use. They certainly sound good listening to dance/trance stuff, which is mainly what i have

Email Yanddy for a price on the System 240's Stone, as he has offered them to me for less than $800 and will ship them to you for free

Mr_Bob... I could have got the Focal's for $759, but I didn't know how they sounded. The PolyKevlar's were way to bright for the music(punk) I listen to, so I was unsure about the Utopias. M
y Morel Dotech's even seemed too bright, which I didn't think they were meant to be.
I haven't heard the Boston's either, but i've been told they are bright compared to Morel's and Dyn's.
