Seen most companies deal in US dollars, shouldn't prices be coming back down, not going up. Although these distributors are making a healthier profit so I guess what ever puts food on the table and enough for pudding...

Unfortunately Dynaudio deal in Euro's so the favourable US exchange rate hasn't had any effect on prices, Image Dynamics in another story, looks like I will be able to afford the 21" wheels on the new 911 Turbo after all...............

I had a Hex set of diamonds in my car for 4 years....just replaced them with the dyna system 240MKII.... night and day diff. As much as I liked my diamonds..the dyna's are so much sweeter sounding. I'm putting the Diamonds in my wifes install..they are to good to just give up.

Both are excellent speakers....just to me...the dynas sound much better

Yup as everyone has said here, the Dyns are the way to go, My cousin in England had a set of Diamonds, and while I was over there, I heard his Rainbow setup, and yes the differance was amazing, it was a direct comparison, as it was in the same environment with the same signal etc, the Rainbows just reproduced a much more detailed and accurate sound across the whole range, having listened to a few Dyna setups I would say they are a touch better than the Diamonds, it all comes down to the price, if you can get a set of Diamonds for significantly cheap (and I've heard of some bargains recently) then I'd so go Diamond Audio, but if it came down to direct dollar for dollar comparison, lol Dyna all the way.
