wow having both a w7 and a max right there. i wish i could do that in sydney.

they are there literally in your car, can't you just shove both of them a decent box and have a listen for yourself?

haven't listen to either. a lot of pple compare 12w7 and 13w7 to idmax12. from comments i have read, w7s are a bit more controlled at extreme levels, but there isn't that much in it. but considering the massive difference in price, value for money is something to consider.

but god damn those W7's are one sexy sub...

sorry can't offer any opinions as I havn't done a direct comparison but the IDMAX12 was already pushing my budget

Hmmm, the decision, one has to make in life, are indeed hard, and could lead you on a very windy and confusing path grasshoper, lol, I'd go the W7, but as everyone has said, the IDMAX is very close to being right on par its more beautiful sub woofer friend. BTW, I'm desperate to know where you got your hands on that 10W7, I need one, preferbably two more, and they don't bring em in to the country
