G'day,
i just joined, i live in W.A. i have a beemer, so yeh, to the point. i am upgrading my speakers in the rear. i currently have 6x9" kenwoods, they're two way, i want to upgrade the sound quality for high frequencies. i have components in the front, and two 10" subs in the back driven by a 1200W amp, i have hte bass, i have the high frequencies. but for the parcel shelf, i want to put 3 way speakers in. do i put 6x9" 3 ways or 6" 3ways in the back? what will give me better sound quality, keep in mind oval speakers are for bass and i have too much in the rear already?

I would say go for the rounds. But you could just high pass the 6x9s to get rid of the bass. If you do change speakers though just get 2-ways not 3-ways.

I would get rid of all rear speakers, imo they degrade the SQ unless your running them in a true dolby set up
