i just bought a set of the current model boston rally splits i think they are the rc620s
any way i have a set of boston ProSeries 6.4x crossovers and i was woundering if it would be a wise move to put the pro crosovers in rather then the stock ones???? any one have any experiences with these>?????
any input will help.

might be best to stay with the crossovers supplied, boston go to alot of trouble to set each one up to match the speakers they're supplied with. sure, mayeb swapping the x-overs will improve things, but theyre specifically setup for those particular speakers so it may work against you. if you can try though there's no harm in it

I would stick with the xovers dedicated to the drivers.

I disagree, and from actual experience!! If I hadn't actually been in your circumstance, I would have joined the brigade in pooh-poohing the idea, but....
My Pro's got mothballed a while ago when I was using a company vehicle, so my friend borrowed my Pro crossovers to use with his Rally splits...... ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE DIFFERENCE! Sharper, clearer, all the superlatives you can think of!
Do yourself a favour: at least try it. I think the crossovers are the best part about the Pro's, and the fact that they worked so well on the Rally's should at least earn them an opportunity!

Can't argue with actual experience. Give it a go then.
Notionally tho, my comment above stands "in principal"

the pro's probably have a lower tweeter crossover point, i wouldnt want to b pushing the rallys at full power, without their "proper" crossover
