Well, the Echo is gone and the Astra has arrived. It is a black poverty pack hatch. Does anyone know what fits in the doors? I'm too lazy to pull the door trims off!

Aparantly the Sys 240 can fit in the front doors with a new "ring" made for the speaker! As for me, i'm gonna try fitting 7"'s in there..... only because thats what i have But, i can see some "custom" pods making a nice 3 way set that isn't deep fit in nicely, although, doing that means replacing the bottom part of the door
I have an astra coming too SRi
Only thing, it has 3 doors, not 4, so pods would make bloody heavy doors!

Thanks for the info, I suppose I will have to make the effort to get out the screwdrivers this weekend and have a look, then make a trip down to the warehouse to get a pair of 240's and maybe an IDMAX or two to go in the hatch, ahh, life is terrible.................!!

when i was looking at astras, i found you could remove the doortrim, cut out plastic grill, make mdf spacer, strip doortrim of covering, fiberglass out around the space, and completely vinal wrap the door, and you coul use up to an 8" ... that would be yummy with 2 idmax 12"

Please allow for the fact that I am extroadinarily lazy. I have a feeling that the factory system will only last another couple of weeks before the Clarion 9255, Crystal Line CLP-3, 240's and Reference 405 goes in. I have yet to throw the tapemeasure over the hatch to narrow down the choice of subs, but probably IDMAX12, once I get some more. If anyone would like to install it for me please feel free................
