Hey im upgrading my system in the gazelle.
I gonna buy a jaycar 2x150rms amp, bridge 1x450rms.(think that the specs.)
I want to buy an SQ sub, budget is around 250-350
I only had ported boxes, so i would like to have a sealed sub for a change.
New or 2nd hand sub is not a problem. So i need a sub which can take 400-450rms daily.Would have to be single 4ohm or dual 2ohm. to wire to 4ohm. Thats right for the amp isnt it?
I want a 12" sub or even will go a good 10" that is able to go low as well, like a twelve.
SOme subs/brands i have thought of are kicker L5, DD, pheonix gold, IDQ, Hertz, brahma.
I dont wan alpine, as i already have some,i wnat sumthing different from alpine and pioneer and stuff.
Have you guys got some ideas on subs?
Also i dont know much about those brands above,or the price of them, because on the gold coast we dont have any stores which really sell those brands. (except kicker)
Thanks

For that money IMO u'd be better off sticking with the DVC Type R's u got, whack em in a sealed box n bobs ur uncle. They will take 450WRMS easy... I know someone whacking about 800RMS in em

Spend the extra money on an amp upgrade???
