got 2 mbquart subs coming in each rated at 200wrms .. was wondering whats the best config for a good sq install ... i might not even install them both .. maybe just one ... so should i go for just a
1 single sub and box?
2 single box, 2 subs - if so how would u install them? ie what direction should the subs be facing?
3 seperate subs in seperate boxes?

whats the advantages of each??

thanks!

Whether you use one or two or three subs, it won't really matter as long as there is adequate enclosure volume for each sub. More subs will just mean they will be able to play louder without distortion. Just remember to set the sub levels correctly so the install is not bass heavy.

Whether you go for 2 separate boxes, or a single chamber box, it won't really matter. Just make sure the subs aren't placed too far apart and they are aiming in the same direction.

The actual aiming will be the same regardless of how many subs you have (assuming you have adequate room).

The actual direction (ie facing the rear, or up or forward etc) depends on the frequency response of your sub and the transfer function of the car/install. (the amount of room between the back of the car and the subs will effect the response etc)

Each case can be different, I can't give a recommendation without a lot more info..
