Audison Thesis amps

another question,

has anyone had personal experience with the audison thesis amps (particularly the thesis100???

just wondering how good they sound, and how much to expect to pay if i can find one.

Your heading VRX THESIS is wrong, there is no such thing.
There was a series called THESIS (HV Trenta and HV Sedici) which were discontinued about a year ago, starting price was around $3,500 and went up from there.
There was also a limited edition THESIS 100 which was an LR 270 amplifier with over the top graded components which sold for around $1000 (The standard LR 270 sold for around $699).
Only around 4 LR Thesis amps were ever in Australia, and I seriously doublt you will find an owner in CAA as I seem to recal them being sold to older people.

Oh ok, my bad. that is the one I was referring to. i actually know of where i can get one, and associated it with the other very expensive ones you mentioned.

do you know how good it is??? from a purely SQ perspective are they a cut above say the VRx line, or being a modded LRx are they slightly under the VRx quality???

knowing the build quality of the Audison amps, i would say it woudl be 2nd to none

Theres a Thesis currently on ebay.com.au, it has a starting price of $1300 or buy it now for $1600.
