Hi Everyone..
i just got my active 6 way crossover from servicing and they reset everthing back to factory setting. I cant seem to get my front stage and subs sound the same. The amplier was reset too.
the amp is a mrd m 500 alpine mono block. and the electronic crossover is kenwood kec 600 . this is

the web site for the crossover
http://www.kenwoodusa.com/support/manual.j...3&productId=120 and click on kec 600

the amps feature is found here
http://12.145.140.137/html/speakers_amplif...tup_fastfax.pdf

this are the current setting i have
mono block setting
amps filters are on and low passed at 100hz
gains are -5
and rest are all off

other amp for rear and front stage are set to through for the filter and nominal gain.

the active crossover setting are
low 100 hz level control middle
low parametrix equalizer low 100hz and level middle

front mid low cut 500mhz
front mid high cut 3khz
level middle
high (tweeter) mid low cut 3khz
level middle
rear fill mid low cut 500mhz
rear fill high cut 3khz
level less than front stage

splits are all ddrive alpine and tweeters are focal tn51. and subs all jl w3 v2

If anyone can advice me what i should use or any changes i should make to the crossover before i blow my tweeters or any speakers.

Do i have to set the filter off in the amp for sub as i got a active crossover.

if anyone got tn51 what setting you used for the hp frequency and the gains as i dont use thier passive crossovers its all active system.
and any one with alpine dddrive what freq you all used.

i took me about 1 year to be finally happy with my front stage and subs and just after the servicing they messed up everthing. hate when that happnes.

thanks for all your help..

I'd would low pass the woofers a bit lower, give it a go and see what you think. As for the rest, I have NFI!

Id HP the tweets @ around 5k+ and LP mids same. Id try 100 for HP of mids and go lower like 80Hz for sub LP. You may be able to lower the Xover point for sub mids, but always try and leave a gap (underlap). Even if its just 10 Hz, there should always be some underlap.
