im looking at theese 2 subs, i only want 1 sub in my car.... I cant decide which is best for overall performance? im running a jaycar 2 x 150wrms amp (bridged at 450wrms)

I want the sub to have good SQ but decent SPL aswell....

the MTX is 500W and 4 oms dual voice coil . 250 wrms 32 oz magnet

the Fusion is 900W, 450wrms 200oz magnet

How have you narrowed your choice down to these two woofers? I am presuming you are looking for a 12"?

Budget really... i can only afford between 200-300 on the sub... they seem to be better quality of what i have seen so far... :S other ones i have seen in this range are kenwoods clarions, pioneers ect...

The MTX are a good sub IMO (i have a 6000 10" ready for my other car). They provide good Sq, are efficient, and go quite loud (for my needs anyway)

I am not familiar with the Fusion, but looking at specs it looks like you would hardly get it moving with that amp, but just speculation on my part, as no efficiency specs quoted.

I love my 6000 12's in their small sealed box with a bit of wadding. I also wouldnt buy anything with lime green on it...
