Brahma Questions

Will the limited power mean that it's attack and decay will suffer?
Also, i have an ED falcon so any ideas on how i should design the box would be great, definitely more SQ oriented but i need it to also play loud.
Another couple of questions: what do these retail for? and, where can i get them? - i am in brisbane.
Thanks in advance
Ivan

They are US$369 but here they are more like $900 I think. Which doesn't sound right to me....
www.acousticconcepts.com.au imports Adire into Australia.

i ran mine off 580WRMS and hit 131db @ 26 hz, 133@57Hz in a box tuned to 21Hz. (in a mirage)
unless you wanna be taking places in the SPL lanes, you'll find you have ample power to shake the place.
Attack and decay should be fine,
wiring at 1 ohm seems to be tighter, i think that could be because the Le is reduced.
but it sounded great even at 4ohm (it only comes in dual 2ohm)
i paid over $900 for mine (from memory)
but well worth EVERY cent!
Adire recommend good boxes too, 2.25cuft tuned to 26Hz works well

It won't get anywhere near xmax in a ported box with that amount of power above tuning (it will move that far, at ~10hz below tuning though.)

Is there anyone in Brissie that has a brahma installed and could give me a listen? i have only heard rave reviews about it, but still would like to hear it first.
cheers

Or contact John at Acoustic Concepts, he might know of someone in QLD with one.

I had mine in a 1cf sealed, sounded pretty good... just very inefficient. Needs a good solid 500-1000 watts to get decently loud.
Since you have about 700, I think you're good to go.

I looked at the site and it says they only have Mark 111 and the Tempest?

12" $850+gst and postage.
15" $950+gst and postage.
These are all RRP.
As said in other thread talk to john at acoustic concepts.
These subs dont need alot of power to get loud.
