Im looking at buying the air mille 3- way front stage and the air mille subs. Just wondering how they compare in the SQ field or if anyone is running something similar and what they think.

go for it dood hertz make some very good stuff
use the airmille subs for infinate baffle and they will sound fantasic, i know phill from RM audio will probably have somthing to say about this. listen to what he has to say then ask an expert!! (hahaha) then try and listen to the subs in both i/b and enclosed form and make your own mind up.

Sounds like a killer SQ system!
Go down to db Fever and have a chat with Marc (or Simon). Marc had a mille sub running in his Lancer and i think still does in his beema. The boyz will help you out. Smooth sounding subs they are!
The 3-way system have the upgrade tweeter (HT250) which have a nice warm sound to them, as well as a 1600 woofer which have awesome mid-bass.
Definetely have a listen and see if it's to your liking!

Does anyone know what crossover the Mille 3ways use?
Does it use the Mille 4inch or 3inch mid? cause the 4inch is 8ohm..

The Mille mid (in a 3way setup) is usually an HD500 which is 38mm, 180 W @ 900 Hz - 12 dB Oct, 700 Hz - 12 kHz, 4 ohm.
Otherwise there is the HM 1000 (4"), 4 ohm.
