I was wondering how to go about constructing an Aperiodic Membrane Enclosure. I have a 2.5c/f sealed enslosure currently and am trying to utilise this box (or smaller), as it is highly intergrated into the car.
I am looking for a flater, smoother, response, have plenty of power and am prepared to sacrifice loud bass in the name of good sounding SQ sub bass.
I have used Term Pro in the past for designing and building a number of sealed and ported cabinets but i have not had any experience in AP type enclosures.
The sub is an SPL 160 power available is from an earthquake digital (approx 800rms)
it has to blend with 6.5" focal midbasses in small sealed enclosures in the kicks

If the Qms was halved due to the membrane, then the Qts would become 0.32 - if the Qms was a quarter, then the Qts would become 0.3.
