PC DVD player in Car??

Just had a qik thought about maybe putting my PC DVD player in the car hooked up to my 5.6" in-dash screen i'm gettin wednesday...
Just wondering how i'd go hookin it up if at all possible??...and if so would it be very hard??

Thinkin about it i spose i'd need some sort of cable that converts IDE cable to RCA plugs??
Am i somewhere around the mark???
Do they even make those plugs??

no thats not possible, you're not going to convert the ide signal to rca unless you had a full computer with a tv out.

you either need a full computer or a stand alone dvd player such as the ps2.

Grr... wish i could come on friday, just got the carputer finished and working! I Could show you why you should go the full PC!

why do ppl use ps2's in their cars when an XBOX has a internal HDD and can hold upto like 50 cd's ?? my mate has one in his r33 skyline and its wicked! he uses that offa tv and its visualisations and stuff are wicked
