Hey all, the pics that are up are great.. so glad i got to see something of the day... there was a few launceston boys down there i noticed... but haven't seen them on this forum at all

anyway as for the headunit thingy i would personally stay away from pioneer i have never been happy with any of the ones i had. what about the alpine 7998?? with the phantom face?
i dunno about the rockford fosgate ones either... friend of mine used to be a dealer for them but burned them for clarion
i think he said RF was overrated over priced and under specd
and there HU's are so damn ugly too and plain

oh and another one to stay away from is blaupunkt another friend of mine is a dealer for them (not by choice he sells their tvs primarily) and said nearly every one they sold has been brought back for repairs and i also know the guy that repairs them he said they have really cheap rollers in the cd mechanism which breaks

I can't really think of any other HU's that are available to us here

Hi guys, I'm going to Sydney on Monday to visit family and also buy a car

I have a few to look at but it is all down to a 1991 Silvia and a 1999 Lancer

Hpoing all is well I will be able to enter the new car and of course the new premium US import system, not my $250 132dB system
