Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the Rockford fosgate RFX-9110 head unit? What are the like for an SQ setup? if anyone can give me some personal experience, or tell me what they have heard, it would be much appreciated.

Also, is this model h/u at the higher end of the RF line?

I did a search on yahoo, and it said that it has a motorised face plate, which i thought was a characteristic of the higher models, but it only has 40wx4 of power, and i thought most of the higher end models would have more power? like with alpine they come with 60x4

I will be using the h/u to run my JBL gto560ce splits....and later down the track running a JL 12w3v2 off an amp, and possibly amping the splits too....would this be a good SQ setup? in the future id like to upgrade splits, maybe to focal K2's, but i got a great deal on the JBL's, so took them...

If you guys could give any help, itd be very appreciated

Cheers,

Daniel

well i've had a RFX9300 for a while now, certain people :P keep bagging me because its a Hyundai and all, but honeslty i think its a great head unit and ive no immediate reason to change it for any other reason than for a change as it does everything i want while sounding (and looking) great with all the decent features 8)
plus i wouldnt bother about the headunit power, if you're going to be putting in a W3 then you'll soon be upgrading to an amp for the splits anyway, K2's are apparently a good speaker and being Focal i doubt theres any good reason for you not to consider them closely when you're looking. for now i think that headunit is fine, just hang around here and ask more questions, use the search feature for recommendations and you'll be set :caa:

Rest In Peace Adam

QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.
