8" venom comp

To be held on Sunday, March 14th.
*LOCATION: Cotter Rd, 2nd left after the single lane bridge near casurina sands*
*TIME: 1:30PM*

This is just a fun little comp that i thought id run to try and get you all a lil more active. The idea is that we do a big group purhase of 8" jaycar venom subs which can be had for ~$31 each when bought in 10+ quantities, and run a comp to see who can get the loudest with it. The competition will be run using the termlab.net meter. Im still yet to decide upon time and venue, so keep an eye on this thread.

Cost will be $10 for unlimited Runs + BBQ & drink.

Trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place.

Rules:

- Must play frequency between 20hz - 80hz
- Maximum of 1 8" jaycar venom
- Unlimited Amplifier power
- Sub enclosure must remain below window line, but may be placed anywhere behind the B pillar
- Front seats must remain, but all others may be removed


If you would just like to get your car metered, feel free to come along and pay $10 to get it metered and have a BBQ with the rest of us.

Well how bout you suggest something similar to the VIC guys then doigal. I see this comp as a great way to get some of the less experienced people have a chance to get in there and get some skills in box making ,tuning etc whilst maintaining a pretty low budget.

nice cheap way to get into some spl fun... or just get your car metered for the fun of it... get all your mates along that want to see how loud there car really is!
10 bucks to be able to compare your score to anyone around the world. i'm sure we all know ppl with stereo's that want to see how loud they really are.. in a nice friendly environment!
get all the ppl you can.. bring your grandma along if you have to!

nice well we would need numbers to purchase the subs in bulk which would practically get you a venom +entry for the normal price you would pay for a venom... sounds like a good deal to me!
so pete i'm guessing we can put you down for one?
