focal access 13 inch subwoofer?how good?

have you heard this sub and what do you think? if you have one do you have it in a ported or sealed enclosre? i heard it in a sealed enclosure and it sounded unbeleivable :shock: . especially after hearing an alpine 12 inch type R before it!

listen to it with some of your own music if your really happy.. then buy one, you can get one with a box from focal, they arent very expensive (being focals bottom range) but still have the focal quailty and sound

sealed would be fine. but it may not play as low as some other subs.

interestingly focal suggest ported, say 3cuft tuned to ~35Hz. note that the Fs is a relatively high 47Hz, so ideally you would avoid playing much below this; a subsonice filter would be important IMO in such a setup to avoid over excursion when delivering signals below 50Hz.
