I was thinking something along the lines of some RC Bostons or something similar. Could anyone recommend some other brands and places in brisbane where I can listen to them (which would more than likely be GCCS or Northfield)
Any help would be great.

RRP $1350'ish, but they really are a fantastic sounding set of speakers.

They retail for under $600.
Northfield should have these available to audition.

Does anyone know of anywhere else I could possibly try to audition some speakers? I know GCCS and Northfield are probally the best around brisbane but any other place would probally help too.

I was quite surprised with what I heard, for a first time, I actually thought the Alpines sounded good! Had more midbass than the Dyns, but I prefered the tweeters of the dyns a bit more. overall, for a speaker with a RRP of $699 they were very impressive!
