Opinions on A/D/S 312RS 12" sub

I listen to pretty much all styles, but mostly alternative stuff, D&B, and funk. The other subs that have been at the top of my list are the Boston 12.5LF and Xtant Hex 12", but I can pick up the A/D/S a lot cheaper than these subs. So how does the A/D/S stack up against these other subs??
Any input appreciated

Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.

It's from a local retailer. apparently last one in stock, I'm getting it for $350.
The A/D/S website shows a different model, the R12S, so i'm guessing that's why this model is going so cheap since it is no longer current.

A/D/S/ even go so far as to provide you with simulated in-car response graphs for 9 different enclosure styles and sizes (3 each of sealed, vented and band-pass) as well as out-of-car responses for each style... A first for any car audio component I've owned.
Battaboom, I think I will go for the larger sealed enclosure, but I'm lucky in that I've got a ton of room to play with, so I might try ported also just for fun.
