What sort/type of tweeter sound for the REAL SQ suppose to be like?
I usually turn the h u level to about 66% - 75% of the max volume level when listening to my system.
Some people said suppose to be sharp, kind of crispy sound & show the very high pitch because they said it reflects to sound detail and clarity, and usually as I know this type of sound might would often hurt ur ear when u turn up the volume level.
and some people (including me) like kind of very soft & warm sound, like the vocal is really thick, loud and clear (but not sharp) and usually this type of sound would UNusually hurt ur ear when u turn up the volume level.
I know specially when u hear kind of instrumental music will be much detail with the type of sharp and bit crispy sound, but me myself prefer the very soft & very warm type eventhough it's not as detail as the other type.
What do u guys think?
and which type of sound oftenly the judge for SQ competition prefer?

They should produce a 'real' and 'natural' sound.

As of 5 months ago I'm a big fan of silk dome tweets - keep in mind I'm coming from about 6-7 years of real harsh titanium domes abusing my ears. But this is my personal view, what sounds crisp and clear to me, may sound warm and rich to someone else.

Depends on the judge - how would you know, that what they hear is the same as what you hear?
Don't be worried about which tweets are the best, if the overall system sounds good and is installed well, etc, etc, thats what matters.
Above all, whats the point if you don't like the way it sounds?

accurate and realistic is a great answer, as thats what we want to hear. How does that sound ??? Well the best way to find out is to go to a high end Home stereo shop and audition the really expensive stuff. This is often better than listening to cars, as its very hard to get even close to what $30,000 speakers sound like in a room, with car audio equipment.
When your car is judged, we set the volume, not you, and we dont crank it, as 1 we value our hearing and 2 we can tell how good it sounds at way less than full volume. We are judging the car while stationary and so have no road noise to overcome, unlike when your on the freeway.
Anyway, put on your best clothes(pretend your loaded) walk into the best Hifi shop you can find and have a listen, and this will give you the best idea of what judges are hoping to hear when they jump into any car they are judging.
