sorry for this a vs b comparison, but im looking for insight from people who know these two amps. im after a monobloc to run 2 hertz air mille subs that will be paralleled for a 2ohm mono load. they are rated at 400rms each. the zapco @ 14.4 volts will give 500rms while D5 with a regulated power supply will give 600rms. The Zapco is cheaper by 100...and comes with symbilink line driver that will boost the volatge up to 16. thats why im tempted to go with the zapco. otherwise the d5 will give me a bit more juice to the subs. I dont know what to get, i want the zapco but i dont know how efficient these hertz air mille subs are as they will be under powered with the zapco. someone help me out

I personally haven't heard a D5.
I have heard the Zapco though and was quite impressed. But you probably already know that they're damn good.

No chance ur budget can stretch for a Zapco 1100M? =)

Blackrain, that stretch to a 1100M would a very big stretch RRP on a 1100M is $1888 while the 500M is $888.

Xristo, the Symbilink is a advantage with the Zapco and also consider other features like adjustable subsonic filters, etc.
