Hello, I have a 92 honda accord with hertz hsk165's at the front running of an audison srx5, i have sound deadened the doors taped the wiring looms and lock rods with electrical tape etc, i was wondering what you would recommend i do to get more mid bass out of my woofers, i had to make up some mdf rings to fit them in door and stop them fouling on the windows i sealed all around the rings.

Also would the hsk 165's take the power from the srx5 if i bridged the front and rears channels and ran it in 3 channel mode?

Thanks
-Nick

Have you HP'd the woofers at all? At what frequency? What slope?

If you're not using those extra 2 channels, headroom seems to be all the rage these days: with correctly set gains, I certainly don't think you'll be going backwards with the extra power........

I think I'm a little over supreme setups :(

6 months with a new car, and I've got an amp and a set of front speakers.

Or I could just be lazy.

Hey, sorry to hijack the thread but I also have Hsk165s and feel I need more bass. When first into car audio, I low passed the sub at 300hz so all bassy notes were loud, but now its done at 125hz (low on sub, high on splits) , I feel I'm missing out on louder notes as the splits don't play those notes as loud.
