Heard them in a car about a year ago.
Sounded pretty good...I didn't listen carefully enough to pick out all the flaws...but there was nothing bad about them that caught my attention.

Street value I'd say would be around $350-$400?

I see them on US Ebay for about $200US.

I had the focal polyglass 165Vs as front stage for about a year and then bought the mb quarts refference series 6.5s ... I had them both running off the same clarion amp with 75rms and imo the mb quarts are a much better speaker and with the bulb in the crossover you get alot of added protection ...i had them both set at 6db ...the mb quarts have a serious crossover compared to the focals and the focals would distort way before the mb quarts at the same volumes ...i have always liked focals but the mb quarts in this case have more mid base and much smoother transitions ...however i did find the tweeters in the mb quarts to be a bit harsh and probally on a par to the focals which surprised me ....anyway just my opinion ...i paid $400 for the focals from a retail shop here in WA and $550 for the mb quarts ...hope this helps

if had a fair bit of hands on with both of these speakers, and i would definately go the quart personally, they do have a different sound, so it can b personal, the major difference u will notice in the two is the tweeter, the focal can be fairly smooth once warn in, and although some say the quart is harsher in reality i find the quart to be louder not harsher to the ears, combined with a great crossover the progression from mid to tweeter alllows the tweeter to play louder, giving a better over all sound stage
i used to prefer focal until i fitted quart
definately go the quarts, and give them plenty of power cause they r power hungry !!
