magna dash speakers

what size speakers will drop into a mitsubishi magna 1993 dash??

what are the prices/availability of mids (not coaxials) that will fit this location???

any help would be greatly appreciated

Most dash mounted speakers are 4". I put Infinity Kappa 42.5i speakers into my Mitsi's dash and they work really well.
The car:
Honda RB3 Odyssey Lux - 24 bitness and 5ch bipolar Class A/B activeness
Source/processor: Clarion HX-D2, Cleaved iP4
Amplification:Phoenix Gold Titanium 500.4 & 600.2, Alpine PDX4.150
Drivers:Audible Physics XR3M super wide band point source mid/tweeters, Seas Prestige L16RNSL midbasses, Infinity Perfect 10VQ sub, Fountek FR88EX wide band rears
Cables:Monster Cable XLN Pro, Monster Cable XLN S-16

The home:
Home two channel - Class A valve and ribbon goodness
Source: Sony XA5ES (Burson discrete op amps x 6)
Amplification: Bewitch KT88 class A valve integrated
Speakers:Aurum Cantus Leisure II ribbon monitors (EXO modded, hand made ribbons) & high massed Epos stands
Cables: Kimber Kable PBJ, 4TC, 8TC

nothign really will drop into a 93 magna dash....the oem speaker is about 1 inch (max) height, so theres not alot of room to play with........apparently you can fit 4 inch coax there, but you have to cut into the vents......(i never tried though but blackice reckons its doable)

ive only had a quick look at the car the other day and im required to do an install in it shortly

sounds like its not just buy something and drop it into the factory locations
