Pioneer TS-C160R or Focal 165A

i can get both speakers for around the same price, which speaker would sound better - i have a 400 watt 4 channel amp and soon will have a 10" MTX subwoofer, amp 200 watts to sub and 100x2 watts to each front speaker?

Can't you listen to them yourself?

That is the only way you should decide... See which sound better to you.

Ive got the pioneers, havent heard the focals.

They sound pretty damn good, almost if not the same as my brothers bostons. But, now i dont know if its other people influencing me but the pioneers are bright, really damn bright when pumping (im talking 100rms almost distorting) and tend to lack a bit of midbass unless your HU has a nice EQ, oh but that might just be because of my subs dragging stage backwards because they arent passed very low. :P

In your opinion :)

Just go listen to them for yourself or you will get biased opinions from people who do not like either brand for some reason.
