Ok. I have done a bit of researching and kind of decided to get a set of supremo tweeters for my front stage as it should give me a really nice high sound stage but am unsure of what midbass to match to them.
Was considering morel elate 9's but kind of depends on how much i'd have to build out the door pod to fit them.
The two amps i will be using to run the front stage actively are audison vrx2.150ex (2x110wrms@4ohms) and audison vr404xr (4x46wrms@4ohms).
Planning on bridging the 4 channel amp to run the tweets or woofer and using the 2 channel to run the remaining driver (depending on what power the 404 puts out bridged.
What's you guys opinions on this setup for a well balanced front stage with nice wide freq. response.
I have not ruled out other combinations so feel free to recommend any nice detailed smooth high end components. Like to keep the cost for the two drivers below 1500.
Overall My plan is to keep the two audison amps and brax cap, get rid of most of the existing gear except maybe the hu and eventually get an audison or brax amp for sub and run a single 12" like an adire brahma or idmax depending on what my mates one sounds like.
What would people recommend as far as speaker cable and sound deadening goes. I already have focal speaker cable but am wondering whether to upgrade to van den hul or kimber kable or something. Sound deadening will be primarily for use in the front doors where the 9's get mounted.
cheers

Either the Elate 9 or 6 would be well worthy.
Both of these drivers are considered shallow for their size.
The 6 should present very little concern if you are starting with a mount for 6.5" speakers to begin with.
