I'v got my eyes set on 3HU's atm
1. Alpine 9835
2. Pioneer 8650
3. JVC KD-SHX705
I no most of you are gonna say GO Alpine!, but after lookin through the spec's it seem they dont offer much interms of high Volt RCA's, Burr brown DAC's, Looks etc
im open to suggestions on HU's iv never thought to give Pioneer a second look until i saw this years range which seems to be very impressive. and have also been told JVC offer good value for money, atm im using a Clarion835MP HU
anyone had use on either of the 3 HU's particaly the JVC and pioneer?
thanks

It has a 24bit Burr Brown DAC, Time alignment in 1cm increments, 6.5v pre amp output and pretty much all of the features that the Alpine has.
The Alpine only has a 1 bit DAC, The time alignment is in 1 milli second increments (Approx 3cm) and only has 4v output.
I don't know if it will be an advantage but the Pioneer also has an auto eq that uses a mic to set up the eq, almost like using an RTA to set up your eq.
I don't know much about the JVC, so I wont comment on it.

No offence to JVC, but I can't stand their product!
