hey guys, just got my greasy little mits on a new boston pro 10.5 inch but now it has come time to build a little box. I have decided that i want a sealed box as i think (correct me if im wrong) it gives out better sq. I was planning on following the reccomendadtions in the manual for a box size but according to boston i should have a 14L box, now that sounds a bit too small?
recco dimensions are:

H:7.5"
W:11"
D:11"
toating at a .5 cubic ft.

it also reccomends to use 1" thick mdf which i am finding abit hard to find. ne of you guys got a idea where it can be found?

any input would be appreciated.

Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.

1" is 25mm MDF, most hardware stores should have it, but you can also use 18mm MDF with no problems.

Boston recommend 0.5cu ft (or 14 litres) as the internal volume. External dimensions will then obviously be greater.
Even though this seems small, it works extremely well.

ah yes, i think i recall suggesting such a big box might suit. and indeed it sounds great, playing very looooow. :P

so i think you can afford to use a bigger box if you can fit it in the boot.

it also was good cause i only have 220 odd wrms on tap.

if i put it in a .5cf box i doubt it would move!

i did have it in a 1cf box and diddent like it as much

if you have the room i would go the larger box.
if it is not going to be a showy install, just build 2 box's, one large one small and have a play.
