Hi all,
I am thinking of changing my install and am just wondering if there are others out there running Dynaudio system 240s (with the MW160 7" mid) using sealed enclosures for the MW160.
If so, what is the ideal enclosure size for these, or should I vent the enclosures instead?
Alternatively, can anyone tell me where to find this CAA enclosure calculator?
Thanks, Dan.

Whats the application?
For midbass you can go with a higher Q maybe around 0.9 to 1.0. However if there wont be a sub the box should stay around 0.6-0.7
You'd be looking at 10-15litres, i hope u dont want to fit these in ur door.

if your mounting into the door, just seal the door up with 3mm mdf and a heap of duct tape, then sound deaden over the top, the rewards are great - and the process is simple. I also think you will gain very little compaired to the amount of effort involve (again assuming you are door mounting).

As Maz asked, what is the appication?
A proper vented enclosure tends to be pretty hard to do for a front stage. (for obvious reasons)
About 8-10L sealed should be ok....

If in doubt, do a search and then ask questions!
