If you are new in car audio go 2 ways first. Can always upgrade later with a 3" dome from Dyn MD140/2 and it seal, like what cyberpunky say. Anyway I have won many time in CAASQ Comp with my 2 ways set up. There is no problem in a 2 ways set up, or a 3 ways will sound better then 2 ways.
