I am building a semi active 3-way setup for the front of my car using an active 2 way crossover to send 125rms to the 8" mid basses I already have and I need some some sort of 2way 4"ish splits with passive cross overs These mid frequency speakers will be getting 50rms to them..

I am wondering what everyone would reccomend in the $2-300 price range for these?

Rockford Fosgate Audiophile Serries 4inch woofers (RFA-44) with Audiophile Tweeters. $250AU delivered (second hand).

Not only do they sound good the RF woofers are very rare.

ok yeah because there are not many oppertunitys to demo 4" splits where I live

the only ones i have been able to hear are ddlinear 4" and type-R and i want to stay away from alpine and get something more natural sounding

i have got a set of old 4" boston rally splits in my car. they sound really nice, i am running them off an srx5, so they can only get a max 50wrms, currently my gains are set to not even half, and they are really loud.
