And another question regarding EQ. As both Orion and Audiocontrol are only 2x30 band, do i need to get 2 EQ so i can run 30 band EQ for each speaker?

I had a set of these years ago and they made a HUGE difference to the sound. ( although I had a RTA at the time to set them.)

I use AC and the DEQ but Im not using EQT . Anyway personally I think the DEQ has more flexibilty and wont be out grown but thats not to say the EQT isnt up to the job.

np... i haven't really see the ECLIPSE EQ... and I am no longer in australia... sorry bout tat
Reply to noidea:
if i wasn't wrong, it is still available through the indonesia distributor... i've asked my friend to check it out for me but according to him it is still available... but don't know if it is an old stock... If i'm getting the EQT, i am not planning to display them... i think it might look outta place... sorry i haven't got chance to email you the audio set up... i'll do it sometime around this week...
Lots of tuner in indonesia recommend me to go for ORION... they said it is better and have more flexibility compare to the EQT... and another brand called ALTO... anybody ever heard that brand before???

Both units are very good But the Orion has the advantage of easier tuning because it has 4 memories to switch settings. I mainly used it because i wanted my apogee to do the digital to analog conversion . The apogee will only accept a digital signal not analog soo i couldn't listen to the radio but the Orion has a AD converter.

use the best of both worlds - audiocontrol have digital eq's in there current range
maybe a DQS - 6 bands each with 30 bands of equalisation plus 2 parametric bands
http://www.audiocontrol.com/MobileAudio/Pr...igital/DQS.html
or the more standard DQT with only 30 bands
http://www.audiocontrol.com/MobileAudio/Pr...igital/DQT.html
I know the DQT is surprisingly well priced here in australia
