driving the poor little thing a little hard, when the wrong song came on...no sub sonic filters and about 20hz.. bugga
does anyone know if its worth fixing, and if anyone could do it locally.. pref. tassie.

That's gotta suck!
There should be a ruber surround kit to suit. You'll need to send off to somebody to re-glue a kit on for you.
Dunno how much they'll sting you for it either.. but hey.. it'll be worth it if it breathes again... and if you drop the gains down

thanks for the help guys,
the song was a bass test song on a burnt cd.. not normally used for my car, i had the cd on random and forgot about it..
i think the surround might have starting to wear a bit anyway,
