Hi guys,
I have a Xenon X600.1 (some knew that already) (600W into 1-4Ohm).
I am looking at getting an IDMAX 12" to run off it.
I wanted to know if anyone has experience or knowledge about doing Xe.Load tricks, to make the amp think its running @ 4Ohm load.. but actually use a 2Ohm load.
I believe the amp determines the load @ bootup.. then delivers the required current (for 600W output) after it knows what load is present. Is it possible to trick/rewire the amp to always sense a 4ohm load... but actually give it 2 Ohms. Therefore increasing power output... yes other things will go down/get worse i know.
I know higher current is higher stress for electrical and amp.... but I'm interested.
Thanks,
Jason
