Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.

Peter next time we're at the same comp im getting you in my car. After your pointers from last time, im indeed persistant that you'll like it next time you listen.

Although cant help that you dont particularily like the Hertz HSK165's.

Im hoping to change your mind :P

EDIT:

Punky it would be too much of a loss to lose you mate, like in any situation in life there are ones that spur you on and others that make you want to smash glass on face.

Have a bit of time out, get back to your roots of Audio (who your mates are, where you enjoy it the most) and do so. Take some time out from the forums too. There have been lots of posts and opinions and views posted up in this thread. Some warranted, some not. Regardless i think Marc is right and the focus should now be on SQ2008.

Plus id love to hear your car next nationals :)

Jack

Words well spoken - I also wanted to hear your car but didn't get the chance, as I had to run half way through hearing Pulse-R's.

Plus, we all need a number one to play catch up on

Marty thanks for letting me have a listen to your system yesterday.

It sounds brilliant. :clapping:

It put a big smile on my face. :D

One thing I would like to mention is I remember when I was using a HX-D2 if a mobile phone would ring
the unit would do some strange things. Noises coming through the system.

In Wagga did you have your car parked near any high powered power lines, mobile tower etc that could have caused some interference to your system?

Car audio is a drug..

Once you start you cannot stop.

^^ i dont know why people keep trying to find reasons why it didnt win.

has anyone thought it is just cause it didnt sound and image as good as the other cars?

there are only 2 people who know what is going on here, myself and kirk who judged that class. Both myself and Kirk have had alot of involvment with audio over the years, Kirk in PA and other (he can elaborate) and myself in car audio for many years winning many tophys, judging for nearly 2 years etc
we are constant and fair in our judging, we dont discriminate on anyone and judge everyones cars equal.
we dont care what gear is in there, be it hi-end or low-end gear, if it sounds good, it sounds good.
simple really.

but its got Focal BE's??!@#?!?

For the record I judged a car this year in Novice that ran MRD alpine amps and F1 3 way splits.

It came dead last - beaten by 6' rampage components by 17 odd points.

the gear doesnt mean crap - build a bridge.
