Could you make all the events tho data_mine? Be a big ask with you in the ACT, could make for a split series tho, half in ACT and half in NSW? Go half ACT Judges half NSW?

Now if we can just get the numbers.. anyone else want to offer thier judging experience???

I only missed two rounds last year, and even made one with a smashed up car.

I can't guarantee it, but given sufficient notice, I should be able to make them.

Id love to be involved as a judge, however in order to judge 'Amateur' classes, this would mean id be forced to move classes to the 'Pro' class (or whatever it is called now) with two seat staging. That is something im not willing to do.

If im allowed to help in judging 'Pro' classes, but still compete in 'Amateur' then im in! :)

Or if all else fails, i can run around and do safety judging, this will save some time for the sound judges.

I'm able to judge and have done it before (although be it years ago). I'm available most w/ends. I will not be competing nor have I ever competed in any MEA events. Not tied in to any retailer or wholesaler associated to car audio.
Happy to attend training & meetings as needed/possible. Have car, will travel :D

Refer to my post in the other thread.

I'm very, very seriously considering judging if people want me to, and if thats what's needed to keep things going in NSW.

I'm going to have a very serious think about it, but before I can make my mind up, I'd need to have some idea of how many rounds would be held, where, and roughly when.

If you do indeed do splits of say, 2 ACT rounds (with ACT judges) and 2 NSW rounds (with NSW judges) then that may work... two rounds in the space of a year i'm fairly confident I could make as long as they don't happen to fall right in the middle of heavy assessment periods.

Only issue I see with that is that people may complain about lack of consistency between NSW scores and ACT scores but I guess that's a barrier the could be dealt with once it arises.

The only excuse for passive crossovers is their low cost. Their behavior changes with the signal level dependent dynamics of the drivers. They block the power amplifier from taking maximum control over the voice coil motion. They are a waste of time, if accuracy of reproduction is the goal.
