Hi all,

Having had some of the original DD componants in the boot install of my car a few years back they turned me off the range quite a bit as I felt they were very bright and lacked midbass.

I see they have been upgraded, what are peoples impressions of these speakers in there price range? in particular, how would they compare with the HSK Hertz range? I'm thinking of giving them a whirl as the dyn's I was going to buy for my car (second hand) have fallen through.

I'd really like to go for the Oz Audio 5.25 but I can't justify spending $7/800 on speakers I can't hear first.

Thanks for the advice!

That is the first time I've ever heard that about our components!

They are usually famous for their midbass. In fact I just used a set of our C6.5MB as subs in a vented enclosure in a holden Crewman for a mate.

How were yours installed? It sounds like a phase / poor sealing issue to me.

QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.
