An Alpine MRV-F340.. 55w RMS x 4@4ohms . or 130w x 2 bridged.
or an MTX Thunder X704 .... 70w RMS x 4 @4 ohms..... ( i think )
Which one would you guys go for ? I'll pretty much just be using it for my front splits and maybe the 6x9's , i'll have a think about it.
Just want the better SQ one i guess , super loud is not my thing , but i notice my current MTX roadthunder 35w x 4 struggling a bit when i turn things up. i would say it's 75% of my needs , and it's a pretty small amp.

The F430.. *sorry Ferrari on the brain* the Alpine F340 is an okay amp, its clean and does make solid power.
Either way, I would be buying new, I don't support Cash Convertors.

I love it when my $3000.00 amp was stolen. I found it at a cashies and called the police.
It took me over a year to get it back. Buying of cashies is as bad as breaking into a car and stealing the gear yourself.
Many times i have heard the reference cash convertors = crime supporters. I tend to agree......

That's a pretty big call and if I had thin SQ skin I would get offended by such a statement. Putting me in the same class as the junkies who break into cars to steal things is pretty stupid, I wouldn't even steal a Pen from a Post Office.
But on topic, I've got a great big list of exotic gear acquired from Cashies. If I can see it's obviously been stolen then I won't buy it and if it was proven stolen I'd be more than happy to return it to the owner. But when it's just sitting in the store doing nothing it's not like I'm asking somebody to go out and smash windows to stock the shelves.

Same with me after a break-in at our shop.
I asked the counter jockey at CC to show me who brought my gear in for sale. I said "just go out the back for 30secs" I was happy to look in the book myself.
He said "No", even after I counted $1000 onto the desk.
Tell me he wasn't in on it............
