just want your opinion...first and foremost im not after an extreme SQ system...just want something above average...whilst my family was over in teh states i asked them to buy me a JVC 7" double din cd player, inadvertily i assumed it was 3 pre outs, upon reading the specs again it only has 1 line out...
so my question is how much would this affect the system...
im using a 4x150wrms kicker am where i plan to run the front splits with 2 channels and bridging the last two for the sub. the amp has a bass controller.
besides the obvious of beable to fade the system...is it detrimental to the SQ?
should i try and sell it off and purchase the model above it...
thanks

it also means you cant adjust the bass level on teh headunit.
all you will need to do is split the RCAs for the sub.
also, maybe a mod can move this to general section, not *really* and sq quesiton

Top SQ systems have time allignment on the sub atleast and 5 band PEQ or more, if u really want to SQ your car u would use these 2 features.

99% of good amps have pass through, and their own crossovers so you can use them to piece your system. You can build a very competitive car with a single line out.
For example, McIntosh MX406, MX4000 (and the MDA4000) as well as the MX5000 (and the MDA5000) all have a single line out. Pretty sure the dual din tube Panny only has a single line out too.
Try to find me higher end headunits then those!!!

Its all about the music. Always has been, always will be. Im here for the music.
